Sue Parham has established a legacy for her vision, creativity and leadership as former Vice President of Global Apparel, Accessories & Equipment for Columbia Sportswear, and former Director of US Merchandising and Retail GMM at Nike, Inc. In addition to holding these executive posts, Sue is founder and President of Lessons Learned, a consulting firm which focuses on making organizations more effective and strategically focused from concept-to-consumer.
Sue has worked with merchandising, design, sales, planning and marketing teams at powerful consumer brands such as Nike, Williams-Sonoma (including West Elm and Pottery Barn), Under Armour, Columbia Sportswear, Fifth and Pacific brands (including Liz Claiborne, Juicy Couture and Lucky), Jamba Juice, and Amer Sports (including Wilson, Salomon and Arc’teryx).
She is a visiting lecturer at the Warsaw School of Business, University of Oregon, and has authored Math for Merchants and Authentically Speaking which have been used to train product creation professionals around the globe. With an extensive background in presentation and storytelling, she also specializes in coaching executives to create and deliver compelling speeches that resonate, motivate, and persuade. She is a strategic thinker, listener, communicator and leader that takes pride in inspiring teams. Sue holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from University of Oregon.
