Project QuickStep
The Keys to Successful Project Planning & Management
The Project QuickStep workshops are designed to help team leaders and team members learn how to use a flexible and straightforward framework and tools for defining and achieving project goals and delivering desired results. During the workshop, participants are guided through a disciplined methodology for planning and managing projects to a successful outcome. Specific skills essential to realizing a successful project are covered through discussion and exercises.
Project QuickStep is available as a One-Day or Two-Day workshop. If you would like to offer Project QuickStep to multiple departments or larger teams, on-site in-house sessions are also available. Contact Executive Forum for more information.
Time-phased Learning - The Two-Day Project QuickStep workshop employs a time-phased learning process where participants learn skills on the first day, then go back to an actual project and spend some time using those skills in real life. When they return to the workshop for the second day, real life practice becomes the basis for learning as they deliver a status report where they can be critiqued and coached. The added benefit of immediate application of the tools, along with follow-up sessions to share experiences, is a key element in integrating learning into organizational practice.
Who Should Attend?
Anyone who is actively engaged as part of a project team: leaders, managers, or team members. This program is especially helpful for new project managers or for experienced leaders who would like to apply a concise methodology to their real-life challenges.
